Fishing going great

Fishing is going strong the last two weeks. We've been catching limits trolling and jigging. This is the best March I can remember.

We trolled north of the reefs today. Some people did better than others. Fish were being taken 80 back on Deep Down Huskies and 45 back on Reef Runner 800's. Speeds were between .8 & 1.4 mph.

Charter docks to go in Monday

My sources tell me they will be putting the docks in at Wild Wings starting Monday. We should have the boat in and be set up by the end of the week if all goes well.

March 2nd 2012

Today I beat my previous record of March 5th as the first Walleye trip of the year on our beloved Lake Erie. She did not disappoint. We marked a ton of fish and managed to pull 6 fish of our allowable 8. We trolled Reef Runners & Super Rogues. 60 back @ 1 mph on the Reef Runners did best.
